Hey guys, i was suppose to review Jesus Piece by the game for this week unfortunately i didn't have time. SO, this week i'm confirming THREE album reviews (All new albums). Here's the schelude:
Kanye West -Yeezus : 15/ 07/ 2013
Jay-Z - Magna Carta Holy Grail : 17/07/2013
J.cole - Born Sinner (Deluxe with Truly Yours III compilation) : 20/07/2013
So here's this week schelude of reviews i will be doing for AZ Recs. I hope you guys will enjoy, writing the Yeezus review tonight, listening to the album with my brand new authentic Beats By Dr.Dre Studio!
I just bought these 3 albums today in the morning! (Yeezus's cover is rather simplistic, it's a plain transparent regular CD case with nothing but a red duct tape piece on it, it's not even artwork, it's really a piece of duct tape so i peeled it off :c hahaha (It was required to open it and it leaves an ugly white mark on the front, i'm going to fix it tomorrow.

Reviews for AZ Recs!
Hi people! Today it's going to be a short post. Just to tell you guys i'm beginning writen album reviews for AZ Recs (They will be posted there, i use my personnal blog to post personnal and projects stuff.) So, i will be reviewing some new and old albums, each week there will be 2 reviews, it can be a New album review, a Recent album review (Recent could range as an example from 2000 to 2012) and an Old album review (Old could range as an example from the creation of rap to 1999) Reviews will be really abstract and only about RAP albums, i mean there won't be any category like ''Production'', ''Flow'', and everything, it's me writing a couple of paragraphs. BUT, i'll give it a score at the end, it goes like this:
1-Masterpiece
2-Awesome
3-Really good
4-Good
5. Fair
6-Ok
7- Meh
8-Bad
9-Really bad
10-Garbage
--------------THIS IS MY OPINION-------------
If you're not happy with it it's ok, we can even have a debate but no disrespect.
This week i'm reviewing two albums:
New: J.cole - Born Sinner
Recent: The Game - Jesus Piece

I'm over (Not what you think hahahaha)
Let's talk about the title first, i ain't over with rap, this is my passion, my life. I'm over is the name of a new song i'm adding to the tracklist of my first solo EP, Storylines (Below you will see all the tracks present on the EP, they CAN CHANGE, but at the moment, this is the tracklist i'm working on). I've been working like a mad dog on this one, i'm writing everything in my lyrics book, this is a very successfull brainstorm actually. Here is a line i find decent from my previous brainstorm: ''And all I asked
was a chance to get in, but you laid a single blink like you don’t understand,
So while
you taste your biggest rush ever, I’m glad to say goodbye, fuck it, I’m over.''
In this song, i tell how much i've tried to be another person, a better human being, when others somehow stop me from achieving this, and that know i understand where i belong so i'm not wasting time changing the dude i am. If you didn't read my previous post, i explained that this EP will be focused on my life, and what i'm going through psychologically and everything. So here's the minimalist tracklist at the moment:
D-Steel: Storylines EP
1-(Skit #1) Steel strong
2-Storylines
3-Gatling guns (Feat. TapeHeads)
4-I'm over (Feat. TurtleFree)
5-Ryan
6-Life in Red
7-(Skit #2) Steel remember
As i said 4-5 tracks were supposed to be present on the EP. There will be 5 with two skits. I'm not telling you about the skits right now, still working in a pertinent message along with the word i already wanted to spread in these skits. Further info, tomorrow or in two days. See you guys!

Storylines
Hey. You, you dear follower, or just reader of my blog. Yes i vanished again. Internet problems kinda sucks. But well i'm back, and im beginning something new, something big.
As you may know im part of the rap/hip-hop formation White Thrash with my dear friend Turtle Free, and TapeHeads is making our beats and somewhat making featurings on a couple of songs (The album is not out yet, probably not before 6 months or more.). Well i decided, on my own without talking to my friends about it (they will know by reading this post.)to make a solo EP while our production for The Conclusion is on stand-by, i'll work on them at the same time. The solo EP is currently going to feature 4-5 songs. Anyways, i hope tapeheads will follow me into this project, and i'd like a feature of my colleague Turtle Free on the album too. I already wrote a line or two. Like :«Woke up this morning, asked myself ''should i quit?'', but family and friends ain't nothing to fuck with.». Anyways i already have a couple ideas in my head, the subject of this album evolves around me, what i'm going through psychologically and how i deal with different everyday problems. I think this is a good choice of subject for a first solo EP. The EP is called: ''Storylines''. Currently there's 2 tracks that i began to work on, that will probably keep their names on the final product.
One is called, obviously: Storylines and the other one goes by the name of Gatling Guns. This is all i had to say for today, i don't really feel well these days, and this sudden sadness somewhat inspires me some good lyrics. Other news soon.

Now that's something!
Well, well, well. What do we have today? News? Yep. Good ones. Lyrics sample? What do you expect? YES!
I can, in all honesty say that for the first time in my life, i feel like i'm doing someting, i mean really. I started writing stuff on paper since i'm 9.Even 8, can't remember exactly. In fact, i always had an admiration for rappers, not only for rappers, for artists in general, for music overall. That being said, i never really liked what i was writing, i felt it was not good enough, not as i expected it to be, you know? Sure, i gave birth to some mad rhymes even at my beginnins but i felt that they... they never matched well with what i had in mind. I can say today, that all my efforts let to this, here, this moment, the single moment were i'm writing for future fans and for friends. Where i'm writing and i feel that i'm not writing for nothing, when i do this blog as well as when i write lines, i feel they gon' be going somewhere. It all makes sense now for some reasons. ''For some reasons'' is a weak statement as i know some of them. Most importantly, my friend Turtle and my other friend but also my ''manager'' as i like to call him or my ''boss'', daddy TapeHeads. This guy, it doesn't look like it, but he's doing mad stuff. In all honesty, i have the conviction it's because of him that we'll get known. He produces or beats, he makes collabs with people all over the worl, y'know? He's fucking 16 and he's doing this. He's going somewhere for sure, and we, we are following him in some ways, sure he's not writing our lyrics, but he's producing, ultimately propagating our stuff, ourselves, he's getting us closer to our dream, and this, this has no price. He's not your average friend. That's why we call him Daddy Tape, he helps us in this rap game like a dad would do in real life. We didin't even do our first single yet, and yet he's already babbling about how it will be awesome. That's cheering me up. Anyways y'all know what im talking 'bout. Im finally fucking doing something usefull with my life, writing, singing, and maybe at the end, make money out of my passion. And i can't thank my two buddies enough. So, let's get to the ''News'' part.
IT'S JUNE. This means: The recording of ''Quiet In Church'' and ''Drastic Measures Feat. TapeHeads''. Man i'm happy, and guess what? We already have the two basic beats that just need a lil' bit of tweeking, and that is all. I plan (I mean ''I'' because i haven't talked about it to Free or Tape yet) to work with the new Acid Zebra Record members. It's somethin i'm looking forward to! I hope they'll be as excited as i am! And for your pleasure, here's the draft of the chorus of Drastic Measures! So, that's all for today, see you guys tomorrow!
Drastic Measures:
Tape: «Pshhhhhht! So we callin' patient 1»
D-STEEL: «Rap enclosure, Hip-Hop seizures«
Free:«Doc, i think we need Drastic Measures!!!»
D-STEEL: <Chop his leg, make him beg, if he bleeds, if he needs medicine, rap's the only medicine.»
Free:«Wow, Doctor's in, the emergency is evident, no ambulance, put him in a red and white mini-van»
Tape:«Y'all crazy, this dude needs me, bring the MCs back, put a track, he's gonna do a fucking heartattack!»
D-STEEL: «Rap enclosure, Hip-Hop seizures»
Free:«Doc, i think we need Drastic Measures!!!»

Back for real? Back for more!
Wow. Just, wow. Smashed by the irony. Told ya'll i'd be making posts each day, well see... I went to the hospital in an ambulance because i had... puking troubles let's put it like that yeah well. Yep. This is a fairly quick update, now im back on feet and perfectly healthy. I know i never talked to much about my favorites artists did i? Well here's a quick overview. My favorite artists are : The Game, 50 Cent, Eminem, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg (Snoop Lion too ,by the way (Reincarnated album is dope)), Kanye West, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G, D12, G-Unit and more recently, J.Cole. I developped an interest for J.Cole a month ago with his track Cole Summer. That dude had lyricisim in his blood since he's born. He's basically a genius, underrated though, much underrated. I'm planning on buying ALOT of albums in the upcoming months. (I do not download music illegaly, i just can't, so i gotta buy the CDs, don't like that Itune stuff). First off i got to complete my Game and Fiddy collection (Still missing Doctor's Advocate and Curtis. Fans will know), and lots of new albums coming too. I can name many, but mostly: Born Sinner- J.Cole, Yeezus- Kanye West, ????- Eminem, Street King Immortal- 50 Cent and hopefully in a near future, DETOX (Obviously Dr.Dre). That's a friggin' good year of rapping for me. Not only because all these fabulous albums are coming out, but because im entering the rap game myself hopefully soon enough this year. I wrote a lot of good stuff in my hospital bed, dope stuff really, will show to daddy tape, tweak that stuff, and record hopefully in june. That was it guys, i'll continue with the A Post A Day receipe, hopefully (Yep that makes alots of ''hopefully'' in a single post, but what 'ya want? I got hope for alot of stuff) no more incidents! I leave y'all with my favorite J.Cole song which was released 2 days ago called Niggaz Know, worth listening! I promise! And if you wanna suggest me more artists, go on! I got an open mind! ^^

Let's get down to buisness...
See? Told you i would update something everyday, not super important though. Well today is a fairly good update in my opinion guys. First thing first, as i was walking in school with daddy Tape, i had an idea that flashed in my head. Im a big fan of eminem (If you don't know him, you're probably living under a rock, that's under a rock.). And i always liked his song ''Brain Damage'' from ''Slim Shady LP''. And i told myself: «Hey why not make a song like this one, but funnier, without talking about that bullying stuff». So ''Drastic Measures'' was born. I like to call it the second work, since, after Quiet In Church it will be my main project leading to the EP, well i was even thinking writing lyrics for both at the same time. My first recording session for Quiet In Church is next wednesday, Tape and Free will also be working on they're song ''El Suisse'' at the same time. But if i get time to at least record half of ''Drastic Measures'', i'll do the best i can. Since i like my stuff perfect, i'll work on the lyrics alot -and i meanALOT-, before wednesday so it doesn't sound like total crap, sure it's fun to have material to show, but why show it if it's worth less than a penny? I got to brainstorm the shit out of my mind if i want to give birth to memorable tracks, and that's what we all try to do don't we? But as far as i know, what are the lyrics worth when the beat is thrash (<--- See what i did there? haha). So i found a nice silly beat, it will sure be pimped by daddy tape but in my opinion even the basic beat sounds totally dope. See you all, enjoy the Drastic Measures basic beat, i also included the Eminem song ''Brain Damage'' as an example of what i want my song to look like (Remember, funnier, REMEMBER IT!!!) See you guys, maybe i'll post another update today.......? Gotta go back to school stuff!
***Update Important: The beat for Drastic Measures doesn't seem to work. I'll try to fix it thanks! But you can still listen to Brain Damage.

Some good news for my homie TapeHeads, and more!
I feel kind of tired these days, well as far as i can tell no new stuff was written in my ''Lyrics Book'' yesterday. Wait, you don't know what it is right? Let's talk 'bout it then, my Lyrics Book is just a notebook that i had in my drawers for a long damn time, don't remember where it came from. Since not so long, i began to write lyrics in it, now it's one of my best friend if you ask me. If a line pops in my head it goes in the book. I bring it everywhere, this and the cross around my neck. Well, i'm trying to fill it, writing rhymes that don't always fit with other ones even if they're aside, when i get a lack of inspiration, i just open my book, look through a couple of pages and find some lines, like ''Damn that line could match with this one i just made''. Im also into school things at the moment, got some projects to finish, but i always have time to find good beats to sumbit to TapeHeads (The Dr.Dre of the label, like me and Free like to call him, not sure he likes it though? hahahaha). Will be writing lyrics here in a couple of hours, just to show you a written sample of Quiet In Church (A project me, Free and Tape are really enthusastic about). By the way, he's way to excited about the following, but hey, i understand him, our record owner Tape just got a nice collab with some dudes in Poland, if i remember well, grats to him, can't wait to hear the dope beats he's gonna drop us, happy like this, i'm sure he's gonna do some mad stuff in the lab! Also, if you weren't aware, we are going to record (Or begin the record) Quiet In Church wednesday next week, so i got to deliver nice lines and, well i'd say the entire track to daddy TapeHeads befo'. (Got mad work to do, it's sure going to keep me busy along with my school things). Last thing, a friend of me, Free and the boss is interested in joining the record, he's called Simon (Same name as Turtle), he's that man yelling stuff like ''Yeah'', ''Alright'', ''Heeeelll'', in the background of a song, yep, we call him BIG $, it's prolly his MC name. See you guys, and oh, tune it tonight for some lyrics!

So, here's a quick update for you guys, as i say a post a day keeps the doctor away! Me and Turtle are currently in a pre-recording for our first single ''Quiet In Church'', i think we gon release it in the end of june, beginning of july. Me and turtle were inspired by that religious energy, we got a jesus in all of us don't we?
